Terms and Conditions Fashion Camps

1. General Overview

The International Models Council (IMC) Fashion Camps provide a unique opportunity for models to participate in immersive workshops, photo shoots, and professional development activities. By enrolling in the camp, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions in full.

2. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the camp. Any illegal activities, disruptive behavior, or violation of camp policies may result in immediate expulsion from the camp. No refund will be provided in such cases, and IMC reserves the right to make this decision at its sole discretion.

3. Collaborations with Designers and Brands

As part of the camp experience, participants may engage in collaborations with designers and brands, including promotional activities and photo shoots. Designers may pay a fee to IMC to access models for their collections, which helps fund the camp operations. Models will not be financially compensated for their participation, as the primary benefit is portfolio development and gaining real-world experience.

4. Promotional Activities

Participants may take part in promotional activities where they collaborate with brands to promote products or services. These sessions are designed to enhance the model’s experience and develop skills in marketing and brand representation. No compensation will be provided to models for these promotional activities.

5. Flexibility and Adaptability of Schedule

IMC provides a general daily schedule for the camp, which includes morning workshops, midday mentorship sessions, afternoon personal development activities and photo shoots, and evening networking events. However, this schedule is subject to change based on external factors such as client engagements, photo shoot logistics, and workshop timing adjustments. The exact schedule will be provided before the camp begins, but participants must remain flexible to accommodate potential changes.

6. Travel and Accommodation

IMC provides transportation from the designated airport to the accommodation, as well as between photo shoot locations during the camp. Accommodation and daily breakfast are included in the camp fee. Additional meals, excursions, and personal expenses are not covered and remain the participant’s responsibility.

7. Health and Safety

It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the camp. IMC will assist with locating local medical services if needed, but it is not responsible for covering any medical expenses. Participants are advised to have health and travel insurance to cover any unforeseen health issues that may arise.

8. Force Majeure

IMC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the camp in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events. In such cases, participants may be transferred to a future camp, but no refunds will be issued.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during the camp, including but not limited to photos, videos, and branding content, remain the intellectual property of IMC. Participants may use materials for personal branding purposes but may not sell, distribute, or alter them without written consent from IMC.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from participation in the camp shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the laws of the camp location. Should mediation fail, the matter will be referred to the appropriate courts in the camp location.

11. Payment and Registration

To secure a place in the IMC Fashion Camp, full payment is required upon registration. All payments are non-refundable. If a participant cannot attend the camp for any reason, they may request to transfer to a future IMC Fashion Camp, subject to approval and availability. Transfers are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

12. Refund and Cancellation Policy

As mentioned in section 11, all payments for the IMC Fashion Camps are non-refundable. If a participant is unable to attend the camp after registration, they may request a transfer to a future camp, which will be granted at the discretion of IMC. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Participants are advised to carefully consider their availability before making payment.

13. Illegal Activity or Inappropriate Conduct

IMC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal activities, including but not limited to drug use, theft, or any criminal behavior during the camp. Any participant found engaging in illegal activity will be immediately expelled from the camp without refund. Additionally, IMC is not responsible for legal issues participants may face in the camp’s destination country. Participants are responsible for adhering to the laws of the host country and maintaining appropriate behavior at all times.

14. Participation in Photo Shoots and Campaigns

IMC may arrange photo shoots and brand campaigns in collaboration with external designers and brands. These opportunities are part of the camp experience, and models will not receive financial compensation for participating in these activities. The objective is to offer participants a platform for real-world experience and portfolio-building while giving designers access to model talent. IMC will not be liable for any disputes between models and designers beyond these agreed-upon arrangements.

15. Non-liability for Medical Issues

IMC is not liable for any illness or medical emergencies that arise during the camp. Participants must ensure they have sufficient medical insurance to cover health-related emergencies and personal health risks. IMC can assist with locating local healthcare services but is not responsible for medical costs.

16. Adaptability for External Circumstances

Due to the nature of the fashion industry, external factors such as designer availability, photo shoot scheduling, and logistical challenges may require changes to the planned schedule. IMC reserves the right to adjust the daily schedule to accommodate these circumstances. Participants will be informed of any major changes, but the schedule remains flexible throughout the camp duration.
