Competition Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in any competition organized by the International Models Council (IMC). By entering a competition, participants agree to comply with the rules outlined below.

1. Eligibility

•Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter unless parental consent is provided for minors.

•Residency: The competition may be open to participants globally unless restricted by local laws. Any restrictions will be noted in the competition announcement.

2. How to Enter

•Entry Method: Participants must submit their application and any required content via the IMC website or another designated platform before the stated deadline.

•Entry Fee: A non-refundable entry fee is required to participate. Once submitted, no refunds will be issued for entry fees under any circumstances.

•Limitations: Each participant may submit only one entry unless otherwise stated in the competition guidelines.

3. Judging Process

•Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged by a panel of professionals selected by IMC. The judging will be based on factors such as originality, creativity, and adherence to the competition theme.

•Final Decisions: The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

4. Prizes

•Prize Details: Prizes will be outlined in the specific competition details. Prizes may include cash rewards, contracts, or other opportunities as stated in the competition announcement.

•Non-Transferability: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

•Taxes and Fees: Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or additional costs associated with the prize.

5. Intellectual Property

•Ownership of Entries: By submitting an entry, participants grant IMC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote their submission in connection with the competition and related promotional activities.

•Participant Rights: While participants retain ownership of their submissions, IMC has the right to use the submissions for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

6. Disqualification

•Grounds for Disqualification: IMC reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the competition rules, provides false information, or engages in inappropriate conduct.

•No Refunds for Disqualification: If a participant is disqualified, they will not be entitled to any refund of the entry fee.

7. Limitation of Liability

•Assumption of Risk: Participants enter the competition at their own risk. IMC is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred during participation.

•Technical Failures: IMC is not responsible for technical issues that prevent entries from being submitted on time.

8. Governing Law

•These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with U.S. laws.
