Competition Disclaimer for International Models Council (IMC)

By participating in any competition organized by the International Models Council (IMC), you agree to the following terms and disclaimers. Please read this document carefully before entering any competition.

1. No Guarantee of Results

•Participation in an IMC competition does not guarantee winning, career advancement, or any specific outcomes. Success in the competition is determined solely by the judging criteria and is based on the discretion of the judges and IMC.

•IMC makes no promises or guarantees regarding any opportunities or contracts arising from participation in a competition.

2. Assumption of Risk

•By entering the competition, participants acknowledge and accept that participating in events such as photoshoots, runway shows, or performances carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury.

•IMC is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages sustained during participation in any competition-related activities.

3. Event Modifications and Cancellations

•IMC reserves the right to modify or cancel any competition or event at its discretion, including changes to the venue, schedule, judging process, or prizes.

•If a competition is canceled, IMC’s liability is limited to refunding entry fees (if applicable) and will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation costs.

4. No Liability for Technical Failures

•IMC is not responsible for technical failures that may prevent or delay the submission of competition entries, including but not limited to website outages, email delivery issues, or other technological problems.

5. Use of Images and Media

•By participating in the competition, you agree that IMC may use your submitted media (photos, videos, etc.) for promotional purposes across its website, social media, and other marketing materials.

•IMC does not guarantee that all participants’ images or submissions will be featured, nor does IMC promise exposure in any specific media outlet.

6. Third-Party Involvement

•IMC may collaborate with third parties (e.g., sponsors, media partners) during competitions. IMC is not liable for any claims arising from the actions, offers, or promises made by these third parties.

7. Disqualification and Rule Violations

•IMC reserves the right to disqualify any participant for violating competition rules, providing false information, or engaging in inappropriate conduct. In such cases, entry fees will not be refunded.

8. Governing Law

•This Competition Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes arising from participation in IMC competitions will be resolved in accordance with U.S. law.
